Get Involved

SAPA contributes to St. Anne's in countless ways and makes our community strong at many levels.  Check the descriptions below to learn how SAPA helps the school and get involved!

Each grade has two homeroom representatives who help our teachers by coordinating and supporting grade-specific activities.  Lower School classroom helpers are always appreciated.  Please look for emails from your homeroom representative to learn more.

Standing Committees

The Fundraising Committee works in coordination with the Development Office to raise funds in support of school activities.

The Community Service Committee  works with the school chaplain to support and coordinate our service to the school and the greater community.

Friends of the Library  assists the librarian with reshelving and cataloging and supports other library activites such as the annual school book fair held in November.

The Parent Programs Committee works with the school to organize parent programs to educate and build our community at St. Anne's.

 Other ways to get involved

Diversity and Inclusion Group share a cultural experience in the classroom, devotions, or chapel, and/or join the St. Anne's Diversity and Inclusion Group.  The group's co-chairs are Beth Bell and Amy Shepherd.

Classroom Helpers assist our lower school teachers in countless ways depending on the needs of each classroom as requested by the Homeroom Representatives.

General SAPA Volunteers - SAPA volunteers strengthen our community in so many additional ways (class picture day, surprise treat days, movie night, etc.).  If you want to help but are not sure of your availability or how best to get involved, consider adding your name to the list of General SAPA Volunteers .  The 2018-19 Volunteer Coordinator is   Kristi Vitola.

Please contact your homeroom representative, the committee chairs, or SAPA Volunteer Coordinator Kristi Vitola (kristivitola@yahoo.com), to volunteer!

We ask all volunteers in the classrooms to please fill out a “Background Check Form” and submit it to our Business Office. This will help to ensure the safety of our students which is of utmost priority at St. Anne's Episcopal School. The form can be found here, or in the front office when you enter the building. Return completed forms to the mailbox to the left of the Business Office.  Thank You!
