My Blue Duffel Community Day
Posted 11/03/2017 02:26PM

For many years St. Anne's has partnered with Kind to Kids to provide good quality toys to children in foster care in Delaware - a community service idea started by our Student Council and our Service Committee.  This year, Kind to Kids has invited us to extend this partnership by participating in one of their annual events:

Kind to Kids

My Blue Duffel Community Day
Chase Center, Wilmington Riverfront
Sunday, November 12th, 1 - 3 PM

My Blue Duffel Community Day consists of community members, schools, businesses, and families coming together for a fun-filled afternoon to make My Blue Duffel kits for children who are victims of child abuse, neglect, and trauma. The duffels are provided to social workers, police officers, DE child abuse hotline, FBI victim services, and emergency shelters. These duffels give hope and comfort to the children during this critical time of need.

This family-friendly event is open to the public at a cost of $10 per person and will include lunch and activities for children.  Thanks to a generous sponsor and in recognition of St. Anne's Episcopal School's past support, up to four members of the St. Anne's community may receive complimentary tickets if reserved by Tuesday, November 7th by using the promo code VIPGROUP when registering.

This event is a unique and exciting way to give back to Delaware's children in need, while also enjoying family, food, and fun!
