* The STEAM Challenge Ends 4/30!
Posted 04/12/2018 10:40PM

It was wonderful to welcome so many students, parents, and friends to our Design, Build and Play event in February.  We learned about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM), and worked in teams solve an engineering problem with limited resources, emulating the challenges our students will face when they grow up!

Thanks to you, we have been able to introduce new tools into our classrooms and support our great teachers in their professional development.  There is so much more we could be doing, however,  with upgraded equipment and training.

Your gift can put age-appropriate robotics kits, art, and engineering materials in the hands of our students so they can continue to create, collaborate, and explore!

"Our goal in STEAM is to develop students' natural curiosity about their world," explains  Mrs. Wilson.  "I would love to continue this momentum," adds Middle School STEM teacher Ms. Otwell.

According to our technology coordinator, Mr. Hanlon, "While we have made great strides in our classroom technology, 30 of our faculty computers are now out-of-date. We also need faster internet speed to keep up with our increased use."

Your gift can ensure our teachers have up-to-date classroom computers to allow them to support student learning in a rapidly changing world.

We hope you will respond with a gift today. Every student will benefit from your generosity. And, the faculty will have you to thank for their new classroom tools!  Learn more about the STEAM Fund Challenge - gifts made before April 30th will be matched 1:1!
