Coach Kourpas: The St. Anne's boys' basketball team is off to a very promising start. This year's team welcomed eight new players who quickly formed an exciting and gritty group ready to compete with some of the best middle school teams in the area. Throughout the first five games, the team is averaging an impressive 48 points per contest, with wins against the Kent School (MD), and MOT Charter. With seven games remaining on the schedule, the team is steadily improving, focusing on teamwork and ball movement, promising to give us more thrilling play the rest of the season.
Coach Fulk: The girls' basketball team has done an outstanding job of competing and has showcased exceptional teamwork throughout this season. The players have readily accepted the challenges of learning different defenses and understanding how to play together offensively, which has helped them earn a 3-3 record. The most recent victory came last week against Newark Charter which showcased an effort and determination that the entire St. Anne's community would be proud of. With just a few weeks left in the season, the girls will continue to work hard, improve, and finish strong!
