Employment Openings


Middle School Spanish Teacher

St. Anne's Episcopal School seeks a spirited and talented educator to serve as a 6th - 8th grade Spanish teacher within the mission and core values of the school. The teacher will be responsible for teaching 5-6 sections of Spanish, totaling 22 - 24 periods per week. Interest in leading international student travel to Spanish speaking communities and the ability to coach soccer, basketball, baseball, cross country, or lacrosse would be especially welcomed.

The ideal candidates would possess the following credentials and qualities:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
  • Prior teaching experience in a Middle School classroom
  • Fundamental understanding of the developmental stages in the social, emotional, and academic lives of Middle School students
  • Knowledge of the best practices in curriculum instruction in Spanish
  • A passion for the Spanish language and culture and fluency in the language
  • Comfort using technology
  • The ability to teach Spanish effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills
  • Interest in leading daily homeroom devotions and participation in Chapel experiences based on the Episcopal tradition of welcoming all cultures and faiths
  • Willingness to coach up to two seasons of athletics

Director of Enrollment Management

St. Anne's Episcopal School seeks a dynamic admission professional to serve as Director of Enrollment Management to begin by September 2018.  This is a senior administrative position serving on the Leadership Team and working with the Head of School, trustees, parents, and the Academic Forum group to ensure a healthy enrollment at St. Anne's. Reporting directly to the Head, the Director of Enrollment Management is expected to serve on a number of committees and be responsible for various special projects. The Director supervises admissions operations on and off campus; works with parent ambassadors, trustees and school directors to meet near and long-term enrollment goals for the School; works with the Director of Communications and Marketing on outreach and marketing; oversees retention efforts; and assists with managing and allocating the all-school financial aid budget.

The Director provides leadership and oversight of the admissions effort, building a reputation for high-quality service and warmth.  The overall goal for the Director is to build on our admissions strengths, provide initiative and leadership for future directions, and develop and implement strategies to assure that the school can meet its enrollment goals and challenges.

The ideal candidates would possess the following credentials and qualities:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field
  • A minimum of three years of experience in support of educational advancement
  • A positive, enthusiastic, flexible and warm personality with a passion for encouraging a love of learning for students and their families
  • Fundamental understanding of the social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive development of Preschool - 8th grade students 
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment
  • A joyful spirit encouraging compassion, patience, and caring
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence in telling the story of our learning community and communicates the value of a St. Anne's education 

Finalists will be asked to spend at least a half day on campus meeting with others in our community

Kindergarten/Lower School Teacher

St. Anne’s Episcopal School seeks a spirited, creative, and engaging educator who has a strong background in early elementary education and a passion for working with Kindergarten aged children.

The ideal candidates should possess the following credentials and qualities:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a teacher in early childhood grades. 
  • A positive, enthusiastic, flexible and warm personality with a passion for creating a love of learning in all students 
  • Fundamental understanding of the social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive development of early childhood students 
  • Ability to effectively differentiate a rich and varied curriculum based on best practices and current research
  • Commitment to innovation and working collaboratively with colleagues
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment
  •  An understanding of differentiated foundational mathematical instruction that focuses on developing number sense, deeper conceptual understanding and problem solving, experience teaching Singapore Math is a plus  
  • A joyful spirit encouraging compassion, patience, and caring
  • The ability to reflect on their own teaching to adapt lessons to meet different abilities and interests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to communicate respectfully, clearly and honestly in verbal, electronic and written form with parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding curriculum, students, and child development issues  
  • A desire to stay current in contemporary pedagogical thinking, strategies and techniques through further education, reading, workshops, conferences, etc.
