Endowment

The St. Anne’s Endowment Fund functions like a savings account, where the principal remains intact while the school utilizes a small percentage of the interest income. This endowment was initially funded by generous gifts from St. Andrew’s School to help launch our school. Each year, earnings from the endowment are used to:

• Support Financial Aid
• Reinforce the endowment’s longevity by reinvesting funds
• Maintain the school’s long-term financial stability

You can make an unrestricted gift to the Endowment or consider designating your contribution to support specific funds listed on the tabs below.

Established in 2004 by a group of dedicated parents, the Absalom Jones Financial Aid Endowment Fund aims to provide financial assistance to students from diverse backgrounds while honoring the legacy of one of the first ordained African American Episcopal priests in the United States. Absalom Jones was born a slave in Delaware in 1746 and later secured his and his wife’s freedom. He was ordained as a priest and played a key role in founding the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, eventually becoming its rector. We invite you to help us strengthen our commitment to diversity by contributing to this Fund.

The G. Harvey Zendt Faculty Endowment Fund was established in October 2007 to honor Mr. G. Harvey Zendt, the first Head of School at St. Anne’s, upon his retirement. The investment income from this Fund has been dedicated to supporting professional development opportunities, including conference attendance and continuing education for faculty members, ensuring their ongoing growth as educators. We invite you to help strengthen our commitment to professional development by contributing to this Fund.
