Order Lunch

SAES is bringing lunch back in-house and continuing its partnership with HotLunchOnline (HOL) to facilitate the preordering of student lunches. (We are no longer using the School Eatery trial program.) This is the same program used for Pizza Fridays last school year.

As noted in our Family Handbook , St. Anne’s is a nut-aware school and does not permit any food with nuts in our dining room.

Ordering Meals

All hot lunches, including pizza day, must be pre-ordered fourteen (14) days prior to the desired lunch date and paid for in advance through the HOL portal. Cash or check purchases are not available. Menus are posted one to two months in advance to ensure adequate time to make your selections, and school holidays, events and field trips are posted on the menu calendars. This ensures the adequate ordering of food and the minimization of waste. It is the parents’ responsibility to make final selections on time as the menus close in the portal two weeks prior regardless of the day of the week. Hot lunches must be preordered. We cannot accommodate late additions or missed deadlines.

Please ensure you follow the checkout process through to completion. You should receive a confirmation of the completed order.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR STUDENT(S) GRADE! It is important in order to serve the students timely to ensure they enjoy their lunch periods!

Instructions on how to enroll in the HOL program:

From Hot Lunch Online select the “Order Meals” tab.
Select your student from the drop-down menu.
Select your meals by clicking the meal selection you want. A complete description is displayed on the left side of calendar.
Under “Bulk Cart Actions” you may add all similar actions. For example if you select lunch you can add it everyday with one click. You can order for multiple students and multiple months at one time. HINT: If you hold CTRL button when you click on menu choices they will be added automatically to your cart.
After making your selections, click the “checkout” button in the lower right hand corner of the page.
Review your order to make sure it reflects what you want. If you want to change your order, click the “Change order” button.
Complete the order and click “Pay Now” in the bottom left hand corner of the page.
- Pay with a credit card or log into your PayPal account. After you enter all of your information click “Review Order and Continue.”
- Even if you do not have a PayPal account your order will still be processed using PayPal’s secure payment site.
- Please review your order. If everything appears correct click “Pay $x.xx Now” to complete your purchase.
After you have completed your order, please return to your account to verify your order has been placed correctly.
Go to the “History” tab to view your order. You can select list view, calendar view, or export your order to your Outlook or Google Calendar for easy access.

Pricing and Policies

The hot lunch pricing for the 22/23 school year is as follows:

$6.00 for lunch pre-orders (entree, sides, dessert).

$3.00 for second helpings of the main entree - must be pre-ordered.

$2.50 per slice Pizza add on (Pizza Friday only)

$4.00 for same day lunch noted below.

Beverages are not available nor included.

Students who forget their lunch may ask for the same day lunch of an American Cheese, lettuce, tomato sandwich with that day’s sides, dessert and milk. The family will be invoiced through the Business office on a monthly basis. Please note: exceptions cannot be made regarding the same day lunch policy. If lunch is not pre ordered, the hot entree will not be served.

Credits will not be issued for student absences. When pre ordering lunches, school holidays, events and trips will be posted on the menu calendars. On occasion an event or field trip is added or rescheduled after the close of the menu. In these instances only will lunch credit be issued.
