Nursing Substitutes
SAES School's nurse provides care to our students in Preschool through Grade 8.
We are looking to build our pool of substitutes for our school nurse position, for both planned and unplanned days off. We are seeking current, licensed RN's with pediatric experience and knowledge of food allergies, asthma and type 1 diabetes care.

Bus/ Van Drivers
Department :Transportation

FLSA Status :Non-Exempt-Seasonal Hourly
Purpose: The School Bus Driver performs driving duties for the school in accordance with the laws and regulations of the state and the policies and procedures of the school.
Schedule: Approximately 15-24 hours per week while school is in session. Must be available 6am-8am and 2:45pm-5:30 pm.
Essential Functions:
-
Drive a school bus or school van over designated routes in accordance with specified schedules and in accordance with the regulations and laws related to student transportation; transport students and teachers on athletic and educational field trips.

Maintain the school bus/van in a safe operating condition through prescribed vehicle inspections; report mechanical defects and malfunctions to appropriate personnel.

Maintain the school bus/van in clean condition, in accordance to Covid guidelines, including floors, seats, interior windows, and dash area. Empty trash receptacle when needed.

Maintain student order and discipline on school bus/van; report disruptive students according to established procedures and guidelines; cite students for behavior infractions; communicate behavior issues as required by school policy.

Maintain current knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures and techniques.
-
Report incidents which affect the safety of students and the operation of the school bus/van.

Comply with all St. Anne’s Episcopal School policies, procedures and handbooks.

Perform any other duties as required by the Director of Finance & Operations or designee.

Must be able to work flexible hours and days.

Secure vehicles including closing all windows after every use.
-
Willing to drive vans to transport students and faculty for School related activities.
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required, supplemented by a minimum of six months’ previous school bus driving experience or vocational training.

Valid CDL bus driver license with (P) passenger and (S) Student endorsements for the bus driver.
-
Clean driver license for the van driver position-cdl is not required for the van driver position.
-
The ability to take charge but deal professionally and calmly in emergency situations.
-
The ability to work effectively with employees, students, school administration and local law enforcement representatives.
-
Drivers must pass an annual physical exam specific for school bus driving by an approved medical provider.
-
Proof of clean driving record for the past 5 years.

General Job Description: St. Anne’s Episcopal School is seeking a Mental Health & Counseling Specialist. The Mental Health & Counseling Specialist should be a trained child mental health clinician/counselor (licensed or pre-licensed) specializing in anxiety, disruptive behaviors and depression.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide treatments like behavior modification, family systems, parent training, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Licensure hours can be arranged for most candidates interested in this position. The candidate must be available to work during school hours to complete in-person counseling sessions.
This position has potential to expand into a full-time exempt position as needs may require.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with educational personnel, parents and community resources in areas that impact student learning (e.g. mental health, behavior management, school safety, diversity, crisis management, and child abuse and neglect.
· Manage a caseload of students who require short- or long-term monitoring and/or intervention for behavioral, emotional and social needs compounded with behavioral or social-emotional issues.
· Communicate and document effectively with faculty, parents and outside professionals, demonstrating clarity and efficiency in action and response in immediate or isolated behavioral or learning circumstances as well as in annual and long-term case management.
- Create and maintain learning strategy plans, active files, and records of students in keeping with the current laws governing confidentiality as they pertain to students and health services in schools.
- Meet at regularly scheduled intervals throughout the year with teachers and support professionals.
- Consult with parents, guardians, faculty, and administrators about general student mental health issues as they affect the student body as a whole, as well as about individual student needs.
- Make referrals to licensed professionals and counselors, and develop and maintain a diverse network of outside resources through which external referrals can be made as needed.

General Job Description: St. Anne's Episcopal School seeks a dynamic and skilled educator to serve as Lower School Music, Performing Arts and Middle School Choral Teacher guided by the mission and core values of the school (Respect, Responsibility, Compassion). The teacher will be responsible for instructing general music and drama to Primary and Lower School students starting in Preschool. Additionally, they will lead the MS chorus in grades 5-8, and coordinating winter and spring concerts each year. This position would begin in August 2024.
Primary Responsibilities:

Teach early childhood and elementary music and drama classes with an emphasis on singing, movement, improv, musical and drama games and percussion instruments.

Teach choral music to students in grade 3,4 and 5-8

Produce bi-annual student performance concerts across all grade levels.

Collaborate with colleagues in music, drama, visual art, and academic classes to create a cohesive and integrated program.

Understand the fundamental developmental stages in the social, emotional, and academic lives of lower school students.

Facilitate the musical programming for weekly Episcopal chapel service and other assemblies, preferably playing keyboard for chapel and special events as needed.
