The annual Second Grade Shark Fashion Show was a terrific event! Dressed as hammerheads, cookie cutters, makos and many more species besides, students shared all they have learned in their shark unit, which follows their unit on our seashore. Our second graders spent weeks researching their sharks and documenting their findings, as well as creating their own unique wearable renditions of their sharks in Art Class.
Last week and this week the sharks were on display! Our knowledgeable and fashionable second-grade models strutted down their classroom runways in their shark vests that documented their research and one-of-a kind-shark hats to thumping beats. Both classes put on great shows. Family members, friends, and faculty enjoyed learning all that had been researched in this 2018 collection.
Thank you to Ms. Russell, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Burke, Mrs. Kepplinger, art teachers Amy Sherman and Charlotte Howard and our wonderful parents and volunteers who made the show such a success. Congratulations to our students on a job well done.
